As you go through your day, focus on what you have, what makes your heart smile and your soul rejoice. Stay in this mental state, and watch the universe give you all you ever desired.
Take five minutes today to sit still, away from all distractions to ask yourself: How do I want to feel right now? How do I get that feeling? When you answer these questions, make a decision to let go of all you think you need to get done; and take the first step to achieve that feeling in all that you do today. You deserve it!
Acceptance walks in when you know you have done all you can; you have given your best. There’s no doubt nor hesitation, only a clear path for a new beginning.
It’s unfair to place certain expectations on people in order to simplify the complexity of humanity. Chastising those that do not fit the general definition of a person, highlights our fickle understanding of humanity. Moving forward and evolving, demands that we challenge what we accept as norm. Specially when the norm alienates and deprives.
The psychological abuse we willingly endure by society has to stop. We as a society place unnecessary burdens on one another, to have some type of control on each other. In order for the abuse to end, we must start treating one another as extensions of each other.
Stop forcing each other to fit in a box that has only proven to create chaos. This box of norms and societal expectations has created so much more division. It’s time to shed all that we think we know, and get back to a more compassionate and accepting beginning.
Change your perspective of how you see yourself and your existence. Understand that whom ever is and has come into your life, it’s because they are reflecting a part of you. So if everyone and everything in your space are mere reflections of you, why not be mindful of how you coexist and treat “you”?
You must get to a conscious state in which you know, accept and sense, that you are me and I am you. It’s time to start helping each other to live the life we supposed to live as honestly possible, because at the end of it all, I am helping you be just that, my best self.
When we experience sadness, anxiety and or other negative feeling, we tend to coexist in it, and in return negative feelings remain within us for longer periods than we would like them to.
The key to shorten their stay is to allow yourself to fully experience these feelings and identify what is making you feel this way. What happened? What were you thinking, right before these feelings took over?
You see, it’s essential that you not only experience negative feelings but also understand why you’re experiencing them. Being able to identify the why, will allow you to figure out the how to managing them. Sometimes we experience these feelings because we need to change something or do something different. Being aware that these feelings are a result of the need to some kind of change, for me, makes it easier to face and experience them.
Remember life is about experiencing, learning, evolving and moving on. This means that in order for us to learn something at a personal level, we must allow ourselves to experience it. Once we are in the experience, we learn what we like and or dislike about it, opening the door for our evolution. Personal evolution just means that you are aware of experiences you are willing to allow or push away from your life, because you know that they will cause you negative or positive feelings. Evolving also means you adopt new positive habits of behavior and thoughts. Behavior and thoughts that only lead you to your best self. A self that is balanced and confident.
My advice to you would be: Change demands experiencing, learning, evolving and moving on. Don’t deny yourself the beauty of it all, because at the end of it, your best self awaits.
